Day 25

Slow progress recently, but here is some of the stuff i've done recently and some current pics of the Knuck.

ちょっとしか進んでいませんが、これは最近に作ったパーツと最近のナックルの写真です。

needed to remove some material from the rear caliper to make it work, so i chucked it up in the mill and shaved it down a bit.

リヤーキャリパーを使う為にちょっと削るのが必要でした。フライスのテーブルバイスに入れて、少しだけ削りました。

outside in the daylight. i'm diggin' the Vespa scooter and side car that belong to my buddy Tomo of Bike Garage Kokoro.

太陽の光に。後ろのサイドカー着いているベスパは友達「バイク・ガレージ・心の内田さん」のものです。格好いいでうね。

bungs for the upper fender mount. i forgot to take a picture, but these were welded to a plate on the frame.

フェンダーマウントのバングです。写真撮るのが忘りましたがこのバングはフレームにあるプレートに溶接しました。

lower fender mount. pretty ugly right now, but i'll clean it up nicely once the engine is out.

下のフェンダーマウントです。今はかなりラフな感じですが、エンジン出したら、奇麗にする。

Day 15

well, here are some pics of some of the stuff i've finished so far.

今まで作ったパーツいろいろです。

mid controls for both sides.

両側のミッドコントロール。

brass end cap for the kill switch to match the one i turned on the lathe to house the ignition switch.

イグニションスイチを入れる為に旋盤で作った真ちゅうのエンドキャップと同じようなキルスイチ・エンドキャップです。

and the brake and clutch levers (i'm going to be using a suicide clutch).

そして、ブレーキとクラッチのペダルレバー「ハンドシフトにするつもりです」。

Already rolling so to speak

this is the way it sits in my buddy's garage. he's kindly letting me have free run of his shop to get the knuck on the road. lots of work to do in a relatively little amount of time. i've got vacation time from one of my jobs until the end of September, and i'm gonna try to get this baby done in that time. i may make it, may not, but it's gonna be done right regardless.

今、友達のガレージでこんな感じです。友達がナックルを完成する為に、彼のガレージを自由に使って頂いております。やることがいっぱい、時間が少ない。９月まで一つの仕事から休みがありますので、出来ればその間に仕上がりたいです。出来るかどうか分からないですが、どうしてもちゃんとやるよ！
